Stacey's parents are extremely overprotective and concerned about her health, especially since she was diagnosed with diabetes. Stacey is tired of going from doctor to doctor, especially now that she is settle in to her new school and has made some new friends. The Babysitter's Club also has to deal with a new group of older girls who form a babysitting club and begin to steal clients from the BSC

The second graphic adaptation by Martin and Telgemeier of the classic Babysitter's Club stories is actually the 3rd book in the original series. As with the first book the book stays true to the original and the black and white illustrations are clean and tell the story simply- without excessive details.
