In the Stars by Stacia Deutsch and Rhody Cohon

Sylvie is obsessed with the stars and plans to study astronomy in college. Her best friend Cherise is also obsessed with the stars- but in a more metaphorical sense. Cherise obsession with star charts, astrology, and numerology is difficult for Sylvie to understand. When Sylvie loses the diamond from her late mother’s ring and Cherise argues that it is a sign that love is about to enter her life, Sylvie decides to humor her friend and at the same time prove that astrology is not a science- astronomy is. When the new guy appears at school and takes an interest in Sylvie it seems that maybe there is more to her star charts than Sylvie believed.

Another cute and funny Simon Pulse Romantic Comedy. As always, highly predictable but still a fun read that fans of other romantic comedies will enjoy.
