Bang by Norah McClintock

Quentin, or Q to his friends, knew that his best friend JD was trouble and he probably shouldn't have hung out with him after he got back from prison camp. But they'd been best friends since kindergarten and Q was hoping to hook up with JD's sister Leah, so when JD called him it was back to business as usual- which basically meant getting high and causing trouble. Q finds himself in more trouble then he ever imagined, however, when a guy ends up dead and Q finds himself the only suspect. The fast-pacing and interesting plot makes this story a quick read that will appeal to reluctant male readers. Q has enough depth to make him interesting to readers who prefer more character development, but the story does not get bogged down by too many details.
