Jason & Kyra by Dana Davidson

Sixteen-year-old Jason is gorgeous, popular, and the star of the high school basketball team. When Jason is paired with quiet, brainy Kyra for an AP English project he is unexplainably attracted to her. The unlikely pair shocks their high school when they make their debut as a couple. Beneath the romance story, there are several interesting sub-plots that keep readers engaged in the story. Jason's struggles with his father shatter the image of his perfect life and make him stronger as a character. Kyra's insecurity in her new relationship and her determination to win the Science competition will make her easy to connect with for most teen girls. Teens looking for a light, quick, romance will enjoy this tale.
