Now that Jess and Fred have finally declared their feelings for each other, they look forward to spending their summer vacation together. Jess's Mum, however, has different plans in mind announcing a two week vacation visiting historical and literary landmarks around the country that wil end with a trip to visit her dad. As much as Jess wants to see her father, she is dreading leaving Fred. Not as funny as the first installment, and lacks the more in-depth plot of the first as well. Jess's character, is further developed and we learn more about her parents relationship and why they divorced. Third installment will be published in July 2006.
