Forever in Blue by Ann Brashares

It's the summer after their freshmen year in college and Tibby, Carmen, Lena, and Bridget will again be heading off in separate directions- in fact, the sisterhood have not seen much of each other since their ceremony last summer. Tibby stays in New York to take a screenwriting class, but finds her relationship with Brian changing after a pregnancy scare. Bridget jets off to Turkey to do an archeological dig and finds herself crushing on a married man. Lena stays at school and finds herself drawn to a classmate who just may be able to make her forget about Kostos. Carmen joins a friend at a drama camp, while she intends to do props she finds herself winning a lead role in the professional performance. The girls reunite for an impromptu trip to Greece at the end of the summer when the pants go missing and learn the true meaning of their friendship. The conclusion to the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series does not seem to fit as well with the previous books, a lot of plot points were dropped or too hastily resolved, and some were just not really developped enough (ie: Lena and Leo). The characters have changed a lot between book three and book four (yes, college will change you but some changes were too dramatic- ie: Carmen). The ending was neat and fitting, but unsatisfactory in some ways.
