How Angel Peterson Got His Name by Gary Paulsen

Do not try this at home! The adventures of Gary Paulsen and his childhood friends during their 13th year. Their antics include trying to break the world speed record on skis, inventing the bungee jump, hang gliding, skateboarding, and going over a waterfall in a barrel (remember, most of these things had not been invented yet).

This book is absolutely hysterical! Everyone who has any interactions with preteen boys should read this book. Think the tv show Jackass but set in the 1950s. This book reminded me so much of my brother and his friends and their antics. I laughed the whole way through it.
